Daffodils

Despite a warm winter, it seems Spring will arrive late in London this year. It’s almost mid March and we are still waking up with frosty mornings every day.

What I love the most about living here is being able to experience four Seasons. In Brazil, there is the cold season and the hot season; whereas in Britain it is clear: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer.

I know. It is silly.

But aren’t the silliest things the most precious ones too?

While we are waiting for the warm breeze of Spring, my joy comes every time I see wild daffodils colouring the city, growing at every corner and blossoming in yellow announcing Easter is ready.

On my front garden and on my way to Clapham Common, those yellow little beauties make me smile.
